Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you use frcophthmcq.com ("the service"), run by FRCOphthMCQ ("we", "us"). By creating an account or buying credits, you agree to them.

1. The service

FRCOphthMCQ provides online mock exams to help you prepare for the FRCOphth Part 1 examination. We are an independent revision service and are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

2. Your account

• You can sign in with Google or with a link sent to your email address.
• Your account is for your use only. Please do not share it or let anyone else use it.
• You are responsible for keeping access to your email or Google account secure.

3. Credits and payment

• Mock exams are paid for with credits. One credit gives you one full mock exam.
• A credit is used when you start an exam. You can leave and return to an exam you have started without using another credit.
• Prices are shown before you pay, and payments are processed securely by Stripe.

4. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel a purchase within 14 days and receive a refund for any credits you have not used. By starting an exam, you ask us to provide it straight away and agree that you lose the right to cancel for the credit used. To request a refund, email admin@frcophthmcq.com. This does not affect your statutory rights.

5. Using the content

The questions, explanations and other content are for your own personal, non-commercial study. You must not copy, record, share, sell or republish them, or use automated tools to download or collect them.

6. Accuracy and exam results

We work hard to keep our content accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is free of errors. The service is a revision aid, not medical advice, and we cannot guarantee any particular result in your exams.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and exam progress may be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing questions or accounts.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If a change significantly affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by its courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
